When I change the bumps to low are you talking about what I circled in red? I'm trying to get the texture of a building...and the bump was too harsh... So is what I circled what I change? or something totally different? And if that is what I change, what setting should I change it to? Thanks in advanced! Johannah

Where it says "Gain" reduce it to a value less than 1. You might also wish to change the function to a variable value or something other than a flat line. That should reduce the harshness. MN

And how do I fix this? See how the picture continued to the top?

For the filter, I suggest experimenting with several different ones and seeing which compliments the eye best. For the repeating texture part You will have to increase the scale of the material slightly. If it's on 1.00 now try 1.25. This way it may stretch all the way up without repeating. You can also change the scale of the picture but remember to do this with the bump as well or it'll look strange. I also recommend making sure you have bicubic oversampling checked on both the picture and the bump. You may also wish to change from a world-standard to and object-standard, otherwise it may be difficult to change the texture orientation. You can try changing the mapping coordinates to "faces" on both the texture and the bump. That sometimes helps the tex to lie flatter. MN
