When I come to the forum, like many others undoubtedly, I'm checking out threads that may pertain to my use of POSER. With over 500 messages daily, I certainly can't check them all out. Now most people are pretty good at getting out a simple sentence that gives the gist of their message. But I see so many messages with subject lines like "Oh My God!", "It's Doing it Again!", "Freebie", etc etc that don't give a single hint on what the message is about. I just wanted to suggest that people put a little more thought in describing your message. This will bring many more readers I'm sure, and save others the time of wading through messages that don't mean anything to them or worse passing over ones that do. Just a suggestion folks.

It's just an occupational hazard here..if you skip the 'I'm so stupid' headers, that should bring it in range..;) (why people have to insult themselves here is something I've never understood..;)

Madkat, you are quite right in what you are saying. Unfortunatly I doubt it will ever improve. The other thing that bugs me is people asking for help, but not giving their Poser version. The answer to a question is offten diffrent for P4, ProPack, and P5, the answer to a P5 question can also depend on the service release installed. So PLEASE people, state your version number when asking for help.

But, if you skip the "OMG HELP" messages, you could miss a question that you may know the answer for. Then again, if people want answers to their questions, they sould be more specific about their subject lines. :) --John
