The 'new' place got some coving added and a simple hallway that was suggested by Renderosity members in earlier, related, posts. As always, comments welcomed and Best Wishes.

I posted this yesterday but it seems to have dissappeared. At the point where the wall meets the floor you should have a skirting board.

numanoid: Thank you for the pointer about skirting boards. I was hoping to have done some before this latest post - I ended up spending my available time messing about with splines for the coving. The coving and skirting boards will be seperate 'smart' props.

Agreed. The crown moulding is a beautiful and convincing touch.

I have to echo the aforementioned sentiments by saying this is coming along SWEET. Very clean and precise modeling it seems. Keep it up!

outstanding crown molding!!

It's the attetion to detail like the molding (and what numanoid says) that makes the difference between someone who puts a few primitives together and calls it a room and Moebius87 (smile). It's looking quite nice...keep going!

Thank you for adding your comments to this post. Bnetta mentions 'bead boards' and 'chair rails' but I do not know what they are. So, I would be grateful if someone would explain.
