Im trying out the clothing funtions for the first time, and Im having an issue. I have added a clothing prop from the library, and I cant seem to get the "Conform to.." option in the figure menu to sttop being greyed out. Any ideas what Im doing wrong here?

A 'prop' does not conform that is why the menu item is greyed out. Clothing props usually 'smart parent' automatically to the figure (in the scene) which they where intended for. So, you are doing nothing wrong - only figures conform.

It parented to the figure automatically. Im trying to apply a pair of shorts to Don, and his thighs and dangly bits are protruding through the shorts.

That's probably a dynamic clothing prop. You'll have to run a simulation in the Cloth Room for it to fit properly. You can turn off Don's "dangly bits" with the Genitalia switch from the Figure menu.

If the clothing prop is for Don then there may be some adjustment morphs. If not, try adjusting the scale of the shorts a little or adjust the scale of Don's thighs. Protruding dangly bits can also usually be turned off.

Ok Im in the cloth room, selected the shorts, but when I run the sim dudes shorts fall off. I tried again with the collision friction box checked, same story. Any help? Oh and I shut off the dangly bits/

Poser assumes gravity takes effect - I don't usually mess in the clothroom but I remember seeing that you have to 'nail' some poly's to the figure you are using?

I got it! I just had to tell the shorts to collide with the figure! Thanks again!

Click the "Collide Against" button (on the left-hand side of the Cloth Room) and add Don's hip, buttocks, and thighs to the list of objects the shorts can collide against. Run the sim again. Edit: I see you figured it out. Never mind. :)

Ok I goofed with some poses, then re-simulated the cloth of the shorts. Heres my question though: If i go into the simulation settings and increase the number of frames and/or steps per frame, will it increase the quality of the simulation?
