Subject: Convert 3DS Max files to Poser???

Is there any (easy..?)way to convert Max files to Poser?

Nope, Doc. Max format is different from vanilla 3DS.

You will need to convert the MAX file to a 3DS file or OBJ file. If you have 3D Studio Max then you can download HABWARE's MAX2OBJ plugin.

Oops! ..... Sorry, I don't have "Max" ...
(can't afford it - so I just use Wings3D)
... so I was just guessin' ... and ya can't win 'em all, ya know.

The way I understand it is that any 3rd party utility that converts MAX to any other 3D format requires that 3D Studio Max be on the system. So unless you have 3D Studio Max it might be difficult to do the conversion.
