Hi all!

I am using P5 with V3 and am looking to create my own textures. What I have done so far just ...well PLAIN SUCKS!! Can anyone point me to a good tut on Photo Realistic Texturing? I remember seeing one by Syyd a while back but I missed out on it. I am particularly tring to do African American textures. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Take a look in the RDNA 'Skin Texturing' forum, it's permenatly posted and still on going. There is no prefered "race, religion, or species" and Stacey would love to see variations in the class ;p

Bobbie25 has one here in the Poser tutorials section I believe, might have been Photoshop though. It's fantastic...well written and lays it out step by step. Easy to print and follow along with the printer-friendly version. It's a little easier to read, format-wise, than the one at RDNA. I recall trying to follow along with Stacey's but it's not in a printable format IIRC. Cakeone also has a good one to learn from, I think it's at www.cakeone.com but don't hold me to that. If you want to fork out some cash I keep drooling over BT Sculptor's 3 part tutorial in the marketplace. It looks very indepth and well worth an investment.

: tooting my own horn here : Head to PoserPros, look in the "Realistic Textures" forum (the name's longer than that, has Helen and Silverleif mentioned in it), and look up at the top for an exhaustive, step by step tute on doing exactly this.
