Subject: a question about tutorials

I was wondering... there are only two tutorials in the tutorial section. Are there specified people for that or ... can anyone submit one? (<--Is riding the short bus today.) If 'said anyone' can submit a tutorial, what are the criteria for it and and where would 'said tutorial' be sent for review before it is posted? Have I just overlooked the information on this? Please forgive a very forgetful person who is up way too late for her own good. (<--smiles coyly and trods off to bed, sure to regret the wording in the morning.)

Hi Verlughmina, If you go to the Fractal Community page there are more tutorials listed there too. Anyone can write a tutorial. Originally I posted my tutorials on my website then sent a message to the fractal community here letting them know they were available. Links to them were then added to the Community page by the moderator (I suppose after he viewed them). If you or anyone else has a tutorial in mind that you think may be helpful to others you should go ahead and make it, then let us all know. We may learn something new. It is rewarding to share knowledge. Fran www.arcanefractals.com

Anyone can submit one... So if you have one, go to the tutorials page and click 'upload'. You will then enter the title, check the forum it is to be associated with, enter a thumbnail image, and select skill level. Then click 'add'. You will then start creating your tutorial pages (including images). When you are finished, you click to submit it for approval. If you have problems, let me know, and I'll give you a hand. Hope to see one from you :) Nick

Sorry, Fran, we crossed posts :)
Yes, you can host a tutorial on your personal website, as well, if you have one.

Then, let me know, and I'll link it in the Community page.

Nick
