I'm using Vue 4 and I was wondering if you could place an entire bunch of trees at once istead of putting them one by one and if that is possible, can I export my vue scene (including textures) to poser? Thanks Peevee

Don't think you can export the scene to Poser (though Imight be wrong) BUT you can import an entire Poser PZ3 scene into Vue.

peevee...the only way to get a Vue pic into Poser is by using as a background picture...In Poser You can import background pic...that's the only way. You can use the scatter option in Vue to scatter trees/grass etc....I haven't messed with that all that much..I still resort to doing each individually. Last time I tried, I had trees/grass floating all over the damn place LOL.

yep, same with me: I can't get the trees or grass to drop on the hill I created, it always drops to the ground inside the hill

In one of the side views, drag the tree ABOVE the level of the top of your hill, then hit the drop button. Any objects will always stop at the first object underneath them.

creating a bunch of trees No, you can't. But when you create one tree you want, each short click on the vegetation icon will create a plant from the same species - but always a new variation. So that the plants don't look equal. Good thing. What you can do is to select all your palnts you want to drop on your mountains/ floor position them high over your mountain/floor and then drop them down with the button all the same time. They "fall" onto the next object that is positioned under them. Another "drop" goes down to the next underlying object. If there is one. Exporting scenes to Poser. If you use Vue Pro it is possible. To export scenes so that you can import them into other 3D programs. Like Poser. With textures etc. Exporting scenes.
