I was trying to make a z-toon in Poser and use Ockham's Z-flatten python script, but I got this error message that said "AttributeError: ParentActor". Does anyone know what this means? I'm using P4 Pro Pack.

The only times I've got an error with the z-fletten is when I had selected another bank of props with PBooost, so that the poser ball wasn't available... but I can't remember if it was that error I got at that time. Still if you DO use PBooost, it may be a reason :o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

I'm not using P-Boost, but I have moved a lot of stuff around, so I guess I better check and see if the ball is still there and accessable ;-), thanks.

Very often, this "attribute error" means that you have an earlier version of ProPack. Look at "Help:About Poser" on your main menu, and see if you have 4.2.1.179 in the version number. If not, you need to get the last Propack service release from CL. (The earlier version was just plain buggy in the Python department.)

It looks like I did change the script itself at some point, because the ParentActor thing was making trouble for some people. The change was made 4/15/04. If you're using a version of the script before that, download again and get the newer one.
