Hey, I struggled significanly getting Xfrog plants into VuePro. But I found an easy, fast way to get them in. This may be obvious to some of you but it used to take me a long time and manipulation for the transparecies to come out good (even using Orios's tutorial) You need a relatively new version of Xfrog 1) Open the Plant in Xfrog, and export using lwo format (not 3ds or obj like you would think) 2) Import into VuePro. The transparencies are imported correctly automatically 3) Then make the following changes to the material using F6: a. Correct the difuse lighting setting in the effects pannel (this should be 60% and not 100% (since the ambient and difuse lighting setting should add up to 100)) b. Decrease the gain on the Bumb from 1.0 to 0.1 Now the plant looks like it did in Xfrog if you want the color to look lighter increase the luminous setting under effects slightly Note:These imports affect you rendering significantly, but the plants are ultra realistic, so don't over use them Rafael Sotomayor

Thanks! I just purchased Vue and will be getting some xfrog plants as well as making my own pretty soon. Will the conversion work with Xfrog 3.5?

a little add : 4) if need set size of texture to 1.0, 'coz sometimes lwo model are incorrect (like 4.5 or 17.6...)

I saved the tree in .lwo format and imported it into vue. For some reason my tree has no leaves in the preview or when I render it. Do you know what I may be doing wrong?
