Hello! I was wondering if anyone knows of a good conforming shoes tutorial. I am trying to make a pair of sandals for Frank Frog. I have them modeled and ready to bone but am kinda confused. I have the V3 day life shoes pack and was looking at them to see how they were done. In this pack the right and left shoe are both loaded at the same time when you select them from the library. I am trying to do franks sandals like that so that you just click one button and it loads both shoes and you conform both at one time. My question is how to do the heirarchy part. When you do the heirarchy for a character you pull everything under one body part (the hip) and then hit the create new figure button. With my sandals, however, there is no one body part to pull everything under and then hit the create figure button. Each shoe has a foot and toe part but no part that they both share. They will both have a shin part if I can ever get them to the setup room. How do you get the two shoes to be one figure? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks Lonni :)

Try using some of V3s shoes in the setup room and you'll probably notice that they have all leg parts, perhaps even a hip. The actual geometry doesn't need to be present.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

PoserPros Forum has a tutorial by Dodger called "Shoes for Everyone." May want to take a look at it as well.
