Anyone know of a free tattoo gun prop? I'd love to find one. Thanks.

cooler, you are very very good at props. I would like to have the tattoo gun as well. It is gorgeous. I would really like to be able to use it in one of my images. My email is kristta_21@yahoo.com. I think I can get things that are less than 200kb in my email. I have a couple items that I would like to have made but haven't found anyone that can make them. The items are an infusion set and insulin pump. I have pictures if you'd like to give it a shot, let me know. Thanks, Kristta

Hey, Cooler! Awesome job finding that - I've been looking for an airbrush model for a long time, and in a pinch I suppose I could use this. But do you have any airbrush models lying around by chance? Or anyone? thanks, Jack

not that I've paid any great attention, but from what little I've seen of tattoo guns (that's my daughter's area of expertise..:| ), there's 2 big electromagnet-looking things at one end, and a needle at the other. Not that the airbrush ain't one swell prop, at that.

oh & pakled... the tattoo gun is based on a German design I found that uses compressed air instead of an electric motor for power. Either a CO2 cartridge or a compressor is hooked up at the back of the gun & a rubber diaphram is controlled by the trigger. It allows short bursts of compressed air to drive the needle & a recoil spring pulls the needle back for the next thrust. The advantage supposedly is that you can hold the gun steadier because there is less vibration :-)

FreeJack, I like filling requests for people. I'm relatively good at it, it hones my lightwave skills, & more importantly gives me a chance to show off once in a while. :-) However, finding reference pictures for modelling is one of the things that rank really really high on my "least favorite things to do" list. It takes time away from my modelling & still doesn't tell me what you want made. So either send me a couple of pics (coolerBear@att.net) or at least a URL or two & I'll see what I can do.
