I've imported hundreds if not billions of naked vickies into bryce. Suddenly, the body texture doesn't stick! Hopeing its just a fluke, I cleaned it up in post, got a little post work to do still. I'm going to try TwistedBolt's suggestion. Gotta go outside to smoke, then I'll finish post, and upload.

What mapping type is set for the body texture? This doesn't look like parametric.

This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

Yes it's parametric. for the final pic I changed it to parametric scaled, didn't fix it of course but did give her a more roughed up look. Texture worked fine for the head, hair, and clothes, just the body tex got messed up. I had thought that this happened around untitled12.br5 or so, but looking back, it's wrong as soon as I imported the figure. I'm pretty sure it's a Poser to Bryce fluke. Somewhere the UV data got lost. Couldn't tell in the test renders, thought it was something else. Could reload the obj re-export the obj from poser to find out if it was poser or bryce that dropped the ball, but as long as it doesn't become a habit.... Yeah, I turned off the other channels in the material, didn't help.

either bad mapping or just bryce being icky. make a new scene, import the whole thing again and do it over, and it might work. then bring it back into the original.

What I'm thinking is that the body image texture component has a non-zero frequency value. If the import had no UV mapping at all, parametric mode would yield a solid color object. If it's not this ya got me stumped! HTH; Dan

Golly jee, I must have bumped it. The scale for the texture map was set at 51%. Dan wins!
