Has anyone made a tut on how to make a new runtime folder? Not how to place one in Poser5, but how to create one without screwing up the one you already have. Do I just make a new folder in poser program files and call it something like "runtime vicky" and put all the files like, charactor, poses, etc. in it? What all do I need to put in it. Is the Dr.(geep) in the house? I am not that much of a noobe, but I think I'm lost.I have Poser 2,3,4,pro,and 5. I think a tut on this will help a lot of users. skee the helpless.......help

Your alternative runtime can be anywhere. I think you have to start with a Runtime folder, then replicate the others (libraries, Geometry, textures etc.) in the same pattern as they are in your main Poser installation. Have a look at your Poser 5 Downloads Runtime for a template.

You really don't need to create the empty sub-folder structure. Just create a new folder and name it for your new runtime. Install products there and the sub-folders will be created as necessary. Poser5 doesn't seem to care whether the folders are there or not. Once you have your new folder created you must link to it from within P5. You do that on the library tab by navigating to the top of a library where you can see the "Poser 5" and "Download" runtimes already there (you can't delete those) - then at the bottom of that library use the "+" symbol to add your new folder to the list.

Yep, is is really easy. And it does make things a lot easier. By the way, if you set up an empty runtime (call it anything you like) and change to it before exiting Poser, when you start it up again it will start up super fast.
