Hi If I understand you right, I think we have the same issue. What I have seen is that POSER have a limmit of the number of files/thumb's in one folder. Once u have to many it will be just the file names, I made sub folder and moved some of the files in there, then it works.. why this is ? I have no clue

In Poser 5 SR4 this is a known "bug" (actually it's claimed to be a feature) You need to open the LibraryPrefs.xml (in the Poser 5Runtimeprefs folder) and change the PreviewNum=100 to something larger. I set mine to 500. You can make a copy of the file first, just in case.

Oh and Poser 5 has no technical limit of items in a folder, and apparently not even for number of nested folders (ynsaen made a test not so long ago which revealed that Windows gets into problems before Poser 5 does) In Poser 4 and Pro Pack however, you do have a limit or 256 folders in each category, and even before that, the names starts to get truncated, and at a point you will discover that you can no longer acces the lower potion of your folders (another reason for all the !!!MyStuff folder names...)

It is a feature! I was wondering how to set it... maybe to kick in at fifty or even twenty-five. Thanks!
