This is an "as shot" no postwork image taken recently atop a stone arch in Big South Fork area of Tennessee and southern Kentucky. I was there to see a wedding take place after the hike to the remote spot.

This butterfly was there and a quick snapshot was taken. I saw beauty in the butterfly. Only when viewing the image did I see part of the wing missing. Still, this butterfly will live its life and be lovely to those who might see it atop the mountain.

So, one example of beauty seen and not in perfection of the subject. I wish people would see eachother that way sometimes.

Do you have an image of beauty in "imperfection"? If so, I would love for you to share it. TomDart.
