I did some work for someone who wants to be able to manipulate the model in 3d Studio max 6. I gave him the model exported from carrara as a .3ds file . The client says he cant open the file in 3d studio max 6. What file formats does Max open. I suggested to try importing the file as opposed to opening the file . Can anyone familiar with Max shed some light on this. It would seem odd that 3d studio can't open or use .3ds files. Mike
