Has anyone ever created a set of Vicki morphs to suggest the effects of gravity? Let's say we have Vicki seated on the floor, resting her weight on one hand and turning to face the viewer. We'd see two obvious effects of gravity: first, her breasts would droop to one side; second, her buttocks and lower thighs would flatten under her supposed body weight. Again, has anyone created morphs for such a pose? For me, the greatest flaw in Poser is that the figures are obviously weightless. If one of the master morphers present would consider creating appropriate morphs for such a pose, he'd advance the program significantly! Anyone up to the task?

Have you tried using the magnet deformers for this? Once you get the hang of it it's easy. You can have the Mag effect mulitple bodyparts at one time. http://mail.curiouslabs.com/poser/magnetTutorial/magnets.html -JH.Whistler posted Thu, 02 November 2000 at 11:10 AM
Yes, I'm sure this can be accomplished with magnets. I just think it odd that, with a hundred morph targets available for breasts and bottoms already, somebody hasn't made targets of this kind. Thanks for the link, I'll check it out.

Actually there is a morph for vicki's breasts right now. It is called lay down and it shifts with the breast. Positive is one way and negative is the other. Found it kinda by accident.

Yes, I've tried it but only briefly. I'll have a closer look. The greater problem, though, is that always-round bottom! I've never seen Vicki (or any Poser character) sit or lay down convincingly.

I can't stress enough to download MASA's PAE (Poser After Effects) program. This is a program which handles the soft body motion for animation and for still shots for the P4NF. It includes the PAE exe plus NeneLite, a remarkable verison of Nene by Yamato which has special chest and hip morph targets. All it requires is a Behavioral file export (between 10-75 frames). PAE handles the rest and makes a cr2 file that utilizes special morphs found in NeneLite. Not only does this handle breast and hip movement but it also handles motions for the ponytail. Download yours today at. http://www.eurus.dti.ne.jp/~masasi/Service/indexE.html And grab the SuperSuit too. It has the same morph targets in the chest and conforms using EMC.Whistler posted Thu, 02 November 2000 at 3:30 PM
Director: I visited the site at once and found that it was Japanese, and that half the links won't work and don't even have proper icons. I did download Supersuit, not quite knowing what it was, along with a short mpeg showing its use. Well, the movie was very impressive! I just wish I could make sense of the site and find PAE, whatever it is! You seem to be onto something, but I don't quite know what! Please provide a little more information, as this seems to be something we'd all be interested in. And provide the link for PAE specifically, if you would, or perhaps suggest another site where the program might be found. I bought Poser specifically for animation purposes and am very interested in what little I've seen of PAE.

Wow! Those are really impressive videos. The best Poser animation I've ever seen!

I got a few more of the links to working and finally saw PAE in action. Absolutely fantastic! Alas, there was no Mac version available at the site! This is where Poser is going, I'm certain. Maybe Poser 5 will incorporate such a feature...?

Whistler ... That was my problem as well.. The no Mac version but it looks cool. And I have seen the bottom done but only with magnets or post work...
