After a while of looking around for some good Poser 5 water I just decided to try to make it myself...this is what I came up with. What do you guys think? I was thinking about making a few more variations and puting together a free stuff package...is this something anyone would be interesteed in?

OOh yeah!! I'm talking about P5 material only...the object it is applied to in this picture is the uniwave available in the freestuff area, sorry about that lack of important detail in the original message!!

  Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

Cool .....I used mostly two shades os blue spots, a plain light grey reflection node, etc. Its pretty simple really. Kristta - the land is an item in free stuff called Landzone, I cant remember who made it though. I'm new to posting stuff like materials or models or thing at all so ...what do you guys suggest is the best way to get these settings to you!! Let me know and Ill get right on it.

What about a screen shot of the materials room with all the stuff in it? Could that be possible, and then actually write out what the various windows are and the settings for the windows?

Ok ....I did a screen grab of the four nodes and the surface material. When rendering I enabled raytracing on with 8 bounces. I hope this is good enough for you guys, if not lets keep the thread going and keep letting me know what else I could explain and I will get back to you as soon as I can!!

Now keep in mind it does have to reflect something to look realistic. RDNA Skydome (free) and Landzone (free here) work nice for test renders, also if you can kind of see my light settings at the bottom of the scrn grb, an overall distribution of infinite lights at a low intensity work well. I look forward to seeing what the real Poser pros in here can do with some of this material!!

Pretty good! Have you tested refraction with this water? That would make it even cooler than it is now.

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter

p5 water for sure has refraction, I'll see if I can hunt down the tutorial I used for this... It was by Ajax.

I'll toy around with some refraction, I want to try to get P5 water as close to Bryce 5 as I can, or better. I appreciate the tips, Thanx svdl and GladysClump!!
