Hi all. Does anyone know of any Lipsynch demo's (or even better FREE) software for Poser 4 out there? Anything that would turn a WAV into a lipsynch rather than a text-to-speech one. Any help would be great. I had a look at mimic 2.0 at DAZ but the demo is for Lightwave only. Cheers Tony

Well, if you're a PC club member, Mimic 1 is a PC item, so it would only be $2. I'm afraid I don't really know of any demos or free software, and if you're not PC that isn't really helpful, though.

Longer way round, but, for free, you might try Underdog's online Lip Synch Utility to generate .fc2 face pose files from text. (and watch out, it verbalizes punctuation marks. A period at the end of a sentence comes out as the phoneme "pIYrIYAAd")Little_Dragon posted Sat, 07 August 2004 at 6:29 PM
Mimic is the only Poser-compatible lipsync software that works directly from .wav files.
textPuppet has a downloadable demo, but the software is entirely a text-to-speech affair.

Yeah I saw this text to speech software before I think. It's the one that sounds like a robot isn't it?LOL. thank's for the help.

You're welcome. I'll admit that there are more realistic-sounding speech synthesizers on the market (I keep track of such things). But I've heard worse, also.
