This March there were so many sad posts from regular, familiar posters here. I felt it inappropriate to add my burdens to the pile. I felt that after all, that I was in good shape compared to what the Bryster named the terrible March. However; we did have a tough March. John, my hubby was diagnozed with prostate cancer two years ago. He had surgery at the May clinic in Jax, FL - conducted by the bestest there is in this country. We struggeled through shome heavy duty recovery months. But felt that everything would improve. Then this March, it was clear that they had not removed all cancerous cells. So April/May he started an 8 weeks radiation therapy. Needless to say; it has been some very rough waters. We are now in August. He is getting stronger by the day. And in the midst of all this he finally realized that he really, really hated his secure, well insured job. So he quit! :) He has accepted a job for a company in Atlanta, GA. But he will be working out of our home as their computer wiz ... wherever our home might be. That lead us to realize that we might have the luxury of having more than a home, - so we are now in our hideaway 4500 ft up in the Smokey mountains, working our asses off. lol We've had the house winter insulated (in case we'll stay here longer than Oct!), and have ploughed the fields (uhm... as much fieldish as it gets in a 20 degrees angle lol) So; I missed this months challenge as well. But if our connections behaves, I'll work on the next ones :). It's really shitty to go from DSL to a mountainish dial-up connection. I thought I was patient. Apparently not THAT patient! l Anyhow. I have managed to install Bryce up here, and have a pretty decent computer set up. So now that I have scraped dead mountain mice out of the dryer. vaccumed a ton of sanded sheet rock off of everything. I have actually opened up Bryce. And think that I'll enjoy very much to sit in front of the fire - with my beloved not far away (HE got himself a wireless laptop! so he is closer to the fire AND the TV... now talk about multitasking!! l), and pick up where I left off this spring. OK... nuff of ranting and raving.. I've got some Brycing to do. Glad to see y'all :) Britt
