Flashing back to my OLD DAYS in High School when the music I most remember was MOTOWN!!! (The "60's" came later).

Here's an MP3 sampler to get you in the right mood!

Credits to: ZetaStudios V3 Suelma map- one of the best purchases I have ever made. HAIR is Cleo Power hair by HMann http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=4308 Another really good purchase! Has a 5 Star Rating at the REN Store. Isn't Suelma such a great texture. Love your renders. Sharen

The second one reminds me facially of that black jazz performer in Paris in the 1920s/30s. I'm drawing a blank on her name, but the one who had the banana skirt (if that makes sense to anyone LOL).

ypinar1- Victoria 3 and The G.I.R.L can be found at DAZ3D... Sharen- yes, Suelma is also really great for Polynesians. I've made some great Tahitian Girls too with this map! Doesn't Miss G's face in the second pic suggest, hmmmm, could it be... Janet Jackson??? If you know the history of the GIRL you will know the reason why...

Jaz performer in Paris. I think you are talking about Josephine Baker.

You got it Smoovie- I ran off to find a good Josephine Baker website and you beat me to her name! But Josephine had, I think, a more Afro-European look, but still very beautiful. I think the GIRL hints more at Janet Jackson, just because she WAS a big inspiration to the GIRL's creator... (i.e.- the "Raptoms"- a video animation project done with Janet Jackson in mind.)

TONS of Janet Jackson photos here...

I agree, "Girl" has that child-like face and voluptuous woman's body, like Janet. To me, "Girl" looks like Janet when she was on Different Strokes and Fame.

Veritas777 posted Sun, 08 August 2004 at 7:54 PM

Yes, poor Janet is showing her age these days. Nothing wrong with older women and she's still very beautiful, but in the music biz its hard to grow older and realize you aren't the hot little cutie you once were. Tina Turner is a really great example of a singer-performer who maintained TOTALLY HOT up until her 60's- and then her SMART and GRACEFUL retirement- in France I believe. Janet should get some good advice from Tina, and definately NOT her goofy brother! (Seems that Michael always wanted to look like Janet- with grotesque results).

I think it's a matter of the whole Jackson family wanting to look like Diana Ross. lol

Now HERE's a Classy Babe! Tina Turner lives at her French hideaway in the town of Ville-Franche on the Cote d'Azur, which she shares with long-time German partner, record boss Erwin Bach...

I think I'll have to work on a Tina Turner-Miss G character!

I think I'll have to work on a Tina Turner-Miss G character! That would be great. I would love to see it when you are done. You can't forget those signature legs. I'm a newbie to Poser, but when I master my new hobby, I think it would be cool to create models of celebrities. I've been studying the features on some of the character, to see and what I can tinker with to make them look like different people. I can definitely see a Janet morph of Girl
