Hey people, I have tried out trial versions of different softwares and I'm now ready to get full copies of some animation software, but I'm not sure how to aquire them. I know you can order them online, but that seems like such a hassle, i was wondering if there are certain stores that might sell these kinds of software. I live in the US Michigan, if you have any information tell me please. The programs that I am more interested in are: 3D Studio Max, Poser, and cinema 4d. Any info would help thanks!

You could probably get a store to order them in for you if they don't carry them. I know I've seen Cinema 4D in FutureShop, which is the Canadian retail partner of Circuit City. I had to order Poser directly from Curious Labs because I have NEVER seen it in retail stores here. If you're a student, your campus bookstore or computer store should be able to order them for you at a reduced price -- I know I could order Painter8 for less than half it's retail price, and the same with StudioMX.
