Instead of dealing with "figure 1" "figure 2" etc, how does one rename a figure or prop? And, part 2 of this question is how do you add a customized figure to the library? Thanks to whoever can answer this for me :)

To rename: in the Parameter Dials box, click on the Properties tab. Just type a new name in the Name box.
To add a customized figure: Navigate to the section you want to add the figure to. Click on the + mark.

Thanks. Seems simple enough. :)

Why shouldn't speech be free? Very little of it is worth anything.

You say toMAto and I say toMOTo ... etc. ;=] Is it P4 or P5? ... Only her hairdresser knows for sure. ;=] This insane moment brought to you by ... dr geep <---------- "Where weirdness comes naturally!" ;=]

With Poser 4: (0) If it is a character, select its BODY. Even if the part indicater shows BODY already, press the 2 key a time or two, to make sure that Poser is looking at the current figure's BODY and not someone else's BODY. (1) Select top menu Object -> Properties. (2) In the resulting dialog box, change the name. Attempt to rename the BODY is diverted into renaming the figure. (3) If it is a prop or hair, omit step (0).
