Sorry this is off topic but does anyone know how long it generaly takes DAZ to reply to an email? I had a major hard drive snafu and I've been trying to get in touch with them about re downloading my past purchases.... been at it for 3 days now and was wondering if this was normal :-(

They are running short staffed this week due to Siggraph, so they may be a bit slow. Even as a brokered artist there I am still waiting for a responce to a couple emails i sent them. So I guess they are swamped at the moment. Rawn

Most of the time, if Daz is open, I get same day results. But, there has been an EXTREME occassion where, tho I receive the auto-email, my email gets lost. There has also been a time or three where it has taken a week. I guess it depends on how busy they are... I'd say if they haven't replied by today, email them again tomorrow. If you are in the US, they have a toll-free #. Daz tries to help. Unlike Yahoo, who LOST my main email account and THREE months later hasn't even ATTEMPTED to help me, except by sending me the SAME EXACT form to fill out on INNUMERABLE occassions... (I think I've received it an easy 10 times now... I didn't forget my password, Yahoo Mail!!! My account is BROKEN!!!) Have a nice day! Lhiannan

I have had very good customer service from them... I was fully satisfied. Both occasions... recent and several years ago. I believe the wait on email comunication was two days but once contact was made it was efficient, polite, helpfull and fully satisfactory. I had no problem waiting so I did not bother to call.

Same here, been waiting for 5 days to get a stuff-up with my voucher resolved. They are usually quicker than this.

I've noticed the turned around lately has slowed to about 2 or three days, but gotta say they Always get back to me. lhiannan; don't feel too bad, you could be dealing with Earthlink who basically has no more tech support and if you do call for customer service they tend to make the problem even worse...but they did refund me $10 and my mother over $100 due to their blunders. But "tech support", ForGet It, fix it yourself...heck, they couldn't fix a problem when I gave them directions how to do it :? AND BEWARE: Their new techs do NOT know the difference between old Win95/98 and newer W2K/XP systems! If I followed their instructions they would have hosed my network, and when I explained it to them they just got upset with me :?

I wish they'd get my download sorted out. I bought The GIRL Bundle last week right after Paypal came back online, and the automated payment thing didn't go through, although I have the receipt and my account was debited. I've sent two emails and a fax so far, and nothing... :( bonni
