Being a recent newcomer to Renderosity, I've been increasingly fascinated with these great pics. Can anyone suggest a free program that might be good to allow me to experiment? Thanks.

Apophysis 2.00 is free so is Sterling Ware. Mind Boggling Program, Fractalus, Flight From Fractals you'll find a lot of links on the Fractal link page http://www.apophysis.org/downloads.html copy and paste this link to get the final version of Apophysis 200 check out those who do use apophysis program also Fractal Explorer is also free Visions of Chaos also plus many more I personally think you'd enjoy Apophysis:) Good Luck

Fractal Explorer is also a great free program. With the extra two downloads installed, it gives you hundreds of formulas, plus attractors, fractal landscapes, quarternions, and IFS leaves.

i have apophosys and love tinkering in it. but have not figured out how to view a finished fractal outside of the program and how to get it to Paint shop pro.. would love to know! can anyone help?
