Does anyone know what might cause these grey spots to show up in a render? Is there a fix? It doesn't do it all the time, just sometimes and it is irritating me to no end.

is it production quality, or draft? I sometimes get spots like that on draft renders, but they go away when I do a production quality.

And do you use Poser5 or Poser4 ? By the way, i like this picture... very funny...

Using P5? I see that sometimes when rendering with just 1 sample/pixel. Set that to 3 in your render settings or switch to production mode, that should take care of them. Are you using any displacement maps in that scene? Then also make sure that your displacement bounds are set correctly.

It is Poser 5 what do you mean by " sample/pixel. Set that to 3 in your render settings"? I seldom use production mode unless I HAVE too..it is hard on my system..or my patience, take your pick.. (thanks semidieu it was a for a model challenge at the AB3DP and was fun to toss together..no stress cept for those darn dots!)

In the render settings is a slider called "pixel samples" that greatly influences antialiasing. When you change that to 3, the artifacts should disappear. You don't have to use that setting all the time, but I recommend it for final renders.
