Hi all you forum guys: I am in the midst of rendering 3 exterior views of an architectural project to be submitted to the A.I.A. in consideration for an 'Award of Merit' under the category 'What's New L.A.' Bamboo trees would be a perfect landscape choice for the house I have designed. Does anyone know where I can get a 3d Model of Bamboo? I know about the 'Onyx Bamboo Tree Maker Program', but at $195.00, I can't afford it right now. You can see the first view in my gallery under the title: 'Apex' You're always so helpful here. Thanks in advance for your assistance, Susan susanmoses@uluxe.com

isn't there a bamboo setting under trees? Thought there was..just checked, there is..maybe it's not quite real enough? I could model the trunks, but the leaves would be behond me..now that I look, it's not very 'bamboo' like..

Hey susan! This site has a bamboo plant listed in the "indoor section"... which means it's probably not the variety you need. Might be ok for some background stuff. Maybe pakled could model up the stalks, and use these for the leaves?pakled posted Tue, 17 August 2004 at 7:58 PM
