hmm you made it seamless by offsetting it in photoshop right? "Filter - other - Offset" then offset it in both directions by 1/2 of its total width/height. Using this you will be able to get a perfectly seamless texture.

It looks like you need to turn down the specular and ambient levels a bit. Also it probably helps to just have the picture control the colors, but not the levels (at least for ambience.)
