Hey all. I'm trying to generate a Poser figure with a shadow, and have a background image. Problem is the GROUND is always solid. Is there a way to make the GROUND transparent, but still have the figure's shadow showing? Cheers. Marius.

Marius, You can select the ground, open the materials window, and set the maxium transparency setting higher with 0 being not transparent and 100 being transparent. However, this will probably not do what you want. What you might want to try is to make a texture for the ground plane so that it blends with or matches the background you are using, the shadow will show on the ground and look like it is part of the background picture. Sometime it is easier to use two square props and resize and put the texture on them, then position and use them in place of the background pic and the ground plane. You will need to make sure your lighting shines on the ground the same as your background or else the scene will not match up right.
