Pumeco,

The idea of me being charged with being part of a clique, specifically that of the Bryce Forum, is inane. It shows that your knowledge of this forum might not be as good as you think. I do believe that I've been one of the most outspoken members of this community, and have rarely made friends because of that. Those who know me, however, know who I am and what I stand for, and I doubt they believe there's anything threatening or malicious in this human frame. I therefore do not have a clique and neither am I part of one.

The idea of the Bryce forum users being charged with forming a clique that is expressly "malicious" towards new users is largely false as well. Not only is this one of the biggest hubs for Bryce artists everywhere, but there is no other place on this world wide web that welcomes new users with the same warmth and willingness to help as we do. We do reserve these for users who are honestly trying to refine their skills and have some level of brevity in their posts.

I was not around when you first posted about PRO-RENDER. I heard about it from someone, and reviewed your posts on the matter. I think I posted about it, trying to judge if you were indeed presenting vaporware or had actually discovered something new and exciting. It was too hard for me to wade through all the silly repetitions (PRO-RENDER! PRO-RENDER! PRO RENDER!) in annoying capital letters or the excrutiatingly long and confused explanations you gave for the logical questions that were asked as a result of them. With the general idea being that no one really understood what you were talking about, I reached the rather uneducated conclusion that you were indeed presenting us with vaporware. I posted my thoughts to you, being outraged at the fact that you were insulting my intelligence and not coming up with any simple explanations of what your software was or actually did. I have continued to do so until today.

Why? Because not only am I one of your potential customers, but I feel that I have a voice and an opinion and I don't have a problem expressing it, given -what I saw- your lack of sincerity and ability to confuse a perfectly clear issue.

I am also a member of this community and have been a part of it for the last three years. I feel that I have offered a lot to it throughout this time, be it freebies, or simple art. More importantly, I tend to have a short fuse when it comes to certain issues, especially those related to Bryce. Like I told you on another forum, the Bryce community is a strong and dedicated one, with a lot of us having gone through a rather traumatic experience when faced with the loss of our favorite software. If you don't understand that, then you will never understand what Bryce is truly about.

I might be brash, young, naive, casual in my conclusions, with preconceptions as large as the world itself, but that is who I am. If anyone is perfect, let him throw the first stone. (Dammit Rochr!)

All that said, I'm not exactly sure what you want or are willing to do with PRO-RENDER. Again, I didn't quite understand what you were talking about. If you decide to sell it, scrap it, release it as a freebie, I will be equally ambivalent. It's your creation, with its own manual and supposedly fantastic rendering capabilities. And you're free to do with it whatever the hell you want. I will avoid making any further public commentary or judgements in regards to it, as I feel that your last thread and the responses you received to it are ample proof to the entire situation and to your own much-awaited creation. Sincerely yours, Mihnea
