I had been following this project for awhile, but apparently not with enough frequency. It appears to have been finished last December. If you're interested, there's a free model of Tsuyama Castle at this website (click the main attached link.) The modeller goes by "honey," although I'm not sure if that's their screen name here. I believe I recognize some of their images from the Renderosity Vue d'Esprit community. If I recall correctly, they've won some of the monthly Vue challenges. I've seen links to this site before for the nice Japanese household props that are available there, but have never seen anyone mention the castle model. It's easy to miss because the download pages are somewhat decentralized. You can download the entire castle model as one piece (.obj format,) textures are in a separate .zip file. The ReadMe advises that the model is low poly and is best for long-distance renders, but I found it to look very well in close-up renders. If you want a real challenge, you can download all of the component structures individually. There's a map at the page showing the proper configuration. The individual structures could be used by themselves of course. There are more Japanese buildings in the "Edo Street Series" section. honey's main page is [here.](http://homepage1.nifty.com/hakka/edo/index.html) Take a moment and enjoy honey's galleries, there's some gorgeous work there. Many people reading this have probably seen [this](http://edogoyomi.page.ne.jp/download/3dmodels/index.html) page. It has links to numerous Japanese-themed items for Poser, Vue, and 3D apps in general, including architectural construction elements, more buildings, traditional hair props, etc. many of which are Poser-ready. Lots of great stuff. Forgive me if you already know about this, I just think it's a particularly special and generous site, and wanted to share my enthusiasm with those who don't already have it bookmarked. Google "Tsuyama Castle" if you'd like to learn more about the real-life one, there's lots of information to be mined.
