Does anybody know if there is a keyboard shortcut that will allow me to rotate a brush without having to go up to the brush pallette and do it from there?

none that i know of, but you can try and create an "action" to rotate at a specific degree and set a "function-key" to trigger that... never tried it myself (always liked the control of moving it by hand...) :) retrocity

Thanks for your reply retrocity...I didn't think there was a shortcut as I had tried every possible key combination going - Oh, well, guess I'll have to stick to the long way, thanks for taking the time to reply, I appreciate that.

no prob bez,
if it's a certain brush you have to rotate, you can create "tool presets" at various rotations and invoke those... the down side to tool presets is it always select THAT tool (in this case the specific brush) when you invoke. it doesn't apply the rotation to any other brush...

it'd be nice if we can come up with some solution, i live by "keystrokes"!!

see you around the forum,
:)
