Those are really nice models, but I have a doubt... would it be copyright free material? I don't know much about that, I mean making a 3d graphic model based on an action figure... hmmm you should investigate. Unless... you sculpted those, in which case, my congratulations!

lol, wish i did, im not quite sure about the copyright situations, but im not saying that they have to be exactly the same, if they were switched up a bit im sure there would be no problems, these were just to get ideas flowing, you know, something like these. the boots especially and chest armor are about the hardest things to find, in my opinion.

Too bad those are all the promo quality pictures, too. my Tiffany model (The blonde with the gold wings) fell apart about two weeks after I got her. The breast plate and shoulder pads came off, her hair was JAGGEDLY cut and had to be trimmed... then the wings came off and BROKE... And last but not least, her helmet fell off. If I could model more normally, I'd definitely give some of these outfits a try, but I'm still learning the ropes on anything beyond morphing and texturing. I can morph a character with the best of 'em, but I can't make a THONG, let alone a beautiful set of armor like some of these characters have.

I feel you Khrys, i'm still in the learnin the ropes prosses too, or else id give it a shot, btw my angela's head was the first to go
AlleyKatArt posted Thu, 26 August 2004 at 11:46 AM
I think the problem was that they were trying to take beautiful pieces of /sculpture/ and turn them into action figures, which rarely works out. And yeah, my Angela's head fell off, eventually. But in her defense, I had her beating up on my other toys a lot since I was like... 6th grade when the toy series really took off.

ive already got specs boots, he actually made them when i did a post at runtime dna, now dont get me wrong, I love them very mutch and I use them in a lot of images, its just that a girl needs more than one pair of shoes, lol.

Do they? Most Poser girls look adorable in just shoes evil grin
But if you make armor like that and upload it to freestuff, I'll definitely get it! I'd gladly pay for armor looking like that of #5-#9.
I don't know about the copyright issues, I think you mainly have to be careful with the names. I might try my hand at modeling the Valkyrie armor of #5-#7, I'm starting to get the hang of 3d max. Will take some time though, first I'll have to finish my ship project.

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter

If you take a look in the marketplace here and DAZ you may see that you can mix and match packages to get the outfit you desire. Then you can play with textures to get the desired effect.
