I've been fiddeling so much with this that I'm afraid I'm loosing perspective. *lol* Anyhow.. the wall panels are terrains made out of terrains. Fire is Clay's. the chair and globe are mine. The painting is a bryce render... OK... I need to fiddle with the lights.. to make it more creepy. and then I feel that it needs another element, and I'm not sure what that would be. Also, have had some smoothing problems with the wall/terrain. Not sure if I've solved that in this render... thoughts. Comments? Another problem alltogether is that I have SO many ideas about the mystic theme... At least 4 other images in the making. *lol*

Wow, this is looking great! I haven't gotten any ideas yet for myself so I don't know to tell you. But what you've got so far is looking real good.

Only two things that stick out to me.. the inside of the fireplace might need some lights to match what the fire would illuminate..and the rug seems a bit too dark to fit the rest of the scene. Else is awesome.

Only thing that strikes me is that the floor - which is great by itself - looks a bit too rustic for a room with panelled walls. I don't think there'd be so much grain showing, it'd be flatter and more polished. Ditto for the legs of the globe. AS had some tips about that in his thread yesterday (freebie wood). The whole pic is super, though!!

Thank you, guys. :) I'll see what I can do with the flooring. I thought so too, and took the bump down to 1.something. I've also been thinking of changing the wood in the globe, as that is just a tweaked version of the standard burl. Hm.. what else.. yes. the lights in the fireplace. Thank you muddy, - will see what I can come up with. :)

Great start! And a poker makes a great murder weapon. :^)
