Dunno how many of youse followed the gripping Saga of my attempt to clothe the Handspan Studio's Elf for stephanie, but it is officially a done deal!
Im posting a sick flood of pictures to gratuitously show off my first results of the Magnet tutorial found at
http://www.morphworld30.com/tutor.html
This tut was easy to follow and adapt for my needs with a garment rather than the head char example in the lesson plan. Im very grateful to morphworld for hosting these pages.
The Elf for Stephanie is wonderful, I cant suggest strongly enough to sword and sorcery fans to get this character!
Carolly id like to thank for her fantastic rendering advice, and her kind post that encouraged the help and suggestions coming my way from other members.
Most especially both Carolly and Ingrid shared with me the url to the tut that helped me so tremendously.
Dave71 created the beautiful Talyon outfit that I knew as soon as I saw it, I had to learn how to dial and edit proficiently enough to work with.
Ravnheart, when contacted by me to inquire about the possiblity of purchasing an old texture no longer in the marketplace, up and GAVE it to me to help keep me smiling and rendering. Still cant get over this :)
Randym77 in giving me a very astute explanation of what makes Handspan chars so unique, and which I subsequently completely misunderstood, led to me contacting Ingrid which was a blessing. What she taught me a a few emails was incredible.
FlyByNight made me aware of the not only the Talyon char by Dave71 that became the primary outfit, but also turned me onto the discontinued, but incredibly beautiful Ravnheart textures I recieved as a gift!
Artalgo gave me a great technique for eliminating pokethru and DrunkMonkey and Marque both helped with poser items and features to check into that helped me work out in my mind exactly what I wanted this character to evolve into.
And of course, everyone that followed the threads and helped keep it from feeling like a lonely project :)
The series of pictures about to go up are all about the edits of the top. There are still serious pokethru issues on the rear and side views, but Rome wasnt built in a day right? If anyone can suggest further improvements to what ive done so far please fire away.
Thanks again sincerly to everyone :) picture to start with next post
