I have long envied those who can create them, and have always wanted to do them myself. How does one create these beauties in Poser?? I am sending an example of what I mean by way of an explanation: http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=753041&Start=61&Sectionid=1&filter_genre_id=0&WhatsNew=Yes Any help will be greatly appreciated :-) p/s Please note I use Poser 4

I don't know poser4 limits (i guess there is no raytraced material in there), but i guess there are transparency and reflection parameters for the materials. throw a ball prop in the scene, Play with the material parameters and with lights... I'm sure you'll make them before finishing to read this post.

Have fun! Message edited on: 09/01/2004 07:10

I think you're talking about Bryce..;) we're famous for glass or mirrored balls over reflective lakes (our 'NVIATWAS'..;) here's where you can get it..it's cheap..but worth it..you can do a *lot* more, including importing Posed Poser figures..stop by the forum for more info.

I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

I'd also suggest Bryce, we gotta work on DAZ to get 'em to make a P4/PP/P5 PZ3 importer plugin, though, though!

If you want to just make a background for your Poser scene, one option is [POV-Ray](http://www.povray.org), which I used on the attached picture. I use it a lot to make background pictures that I import into Poser. It's probably a lot harder to use than Bryce, but it does have the advantage of being free. :) It is possible to import Poser scenes into POV, but it's a pretty big headache, so I normally just use POV for backgrounds.

Another possibility for making backgrounds is Paint Shop Pro; it's "Balls & Bubbles" filter can make some interesting images.

Hope that's helpful,
Jack
