Hello members
I am wondering if anyone knows how to activate the Content Paradise option on Poser 5. Since downloading the disc to my Computer. All works fine on Poser 5 except this option. The message I get with or without disk in the drive is as follows - I assume the site has not been undergoing maintenance for 1 month?! and yes I am logged onto the net when trying to make use of it:
Content Paradise is currently unavailable
The Content Paradise Web site may be undergoing maintenance, or
The Content Paradise Web site may be experiencing technical difficulties, or
You may need to establish an Internet connection (required for Content Paradise)
Please check that an Internet connection is available, and then click here to try to connect to Content Paradise again.
If the problem persists please try again later.

Content Paradise is a pile of useless pants. You're better off getting rid of it. The attached link shows you how to remove it, at which point you'll find Poser loading a lot faster ;-)"you are terrifying

Content Paradise is mostly just Renderosity, anyway, but it's way, way out of date. Seriously, it's not worth it. bonni

Thanks ladies I'll follow a womans intuition and knowledge any day and do as you say. Much appreciated. Just had to make sure I wasn't depriving myself of a worthwhile tool ;-)

You might be experiencing some firewall block issue. Try looking into that. If you are running under XP you should check its internet/firewall settings to be sure it's allowing other applications to have access to the web.

Here's a way to stop the Firewall problems completely :) I think the reason why Content Parasite isn't working is because it was on the EgiSys website & they no longer have Curious Labs under their wing. I haven't seen any reports of people losing poser functionality by removing the parasite but still be careful & follow the instructions to the letter & make backups before you start ;)Windows 7 64Bit
