Hi everybody, does someone know what it means: "Procedural Terrains with sub-pixel detail whatever the viewing distance" ? Does it refer this new feature to what? Thanks! Ciao, Luigi.

I think it refers to macro like detail, if you zoom in close on a texture with Vue pro it can break up a bit so I presume this has been fixed in Vue 5. I am only guessing though! Rokol

Sounds very similar to what Terragen does .. it computes terrain on a per pixel basis rather than using a mesh .. as its procedural the detail is infinate like fractal rather than based on a texture ..
