I have not used the hypervue option for almost a year as there where some iniotial problems with it. As the problems should be gone several patches ago I decided to give it a try. I can however not get the hypervue checkbox to activate. It dosent matter if I choose render to file or screen. Any ideas?

What exactly are you attempting to do? If an animation, you shouldn't be getting any kind of prompt for to screen or file; just the panel to define your codec and set the other animation parameters. If a large image to be split between multiple cows, then you have to define the areas to be rendered. I haven't done this yet, as all of my Vueing has been animation; I do know that if you haven't defined how the image is to be sectioned, then HyperVue will not activate, as there is nothing there for it to bind to.

A still was what I had in mind. I do however have a faint memory of hyperrendering a still before without having to setup any sections? OK, I have some homework to do...

For single images, I never define sections or anything. Using two machines, Hypervue splits the image into four sections automatically. I make sure that the rendercow engine has been started, then start the render.

Hmm... Looks like I need to do some playing with this, as well (manual, manual, where is that manual...?).

I think you have to render to screen for some odd reason if you are making a still. It makes no sense why hypervue doesn't work with still images that are to render to disk. The pro version has this baby crazy feature too.

Yes, you have to render to screen in order to use rendercow. Don't know why. As long as it works, it doesn't really matter.

I found the reson for it not working... The hypervue does not work in combination with Render Area!! It's pretty easy to workaround but is plain stupid...
