Was googling for a psych assignment, and found this. I just had to share it :) http://www.halfbakery.com/idea/Fart_20distractor

The reason I found this amusing may be related to the need I have for distractors :) Some of my sentences are getting up to 48 words.

lol, that's pretty funny :) mind you, AS is gonna have to spank you for posting an OT thread. Couldn't you have posted it as a modelling challenge you set up to yourself? "Guys, I'm gonna model me a fart distractor! For those of you who do not know what that is, visit this site:" Drac (dodging bans since 1999)

Hmm, a quick redirection of the topic!!

"After I read that, I had to ask whether it would be better to model such an item in bryce or wings..."

That better? :) On second thoughts, I shudder to think of what it would even look like...

hmm..Wings would be low poly (short hang time), but the negative Booleans in Bryce would be more pungent..how did this get started again?..;)

I think using a high-density volumetric cloud as a solid would be the perfect choice in this situation... ;)

When I need a f*rt distractor, I usually say in a loud voice, "Look over there!" Of course, you have to time it just right.
