It's not missing, we just haven't built it yet ... anyone seen a bricklayer around here anywhere?

Hey, did you forget ...
"In Poser, all things are possible! ... Or was that posable? ... Hmmm???"
Dr Geep - 2004
We can add the chimney at any time, even after we build the rest of the house.

I almost typed "rooves" a couple of messages ago... because that is how I pronounce it. But that isn't always a reliable guide. ;^) According to the O.E.D. "rooved" refers to riveted, and the Random House gives "roofs" as the only plural, so roofs it is.

Hey Doc, Not meaning to back up here but I do have a question and maybe you can let me know if I did something wrong. Back on the link above, message 37 (page 26 of the tutorial), when you were doing the 2nf floor outline, everything worked OK except the #4 board. Something about the x-trans and z-trans didn't work right. Here a pic of your page and my effort in Poser. Yeah, got a late start in following to tutorial in Poser. Thanks, Cherokeegeep posted Wed, 08 September 2004 at 10:31 PM

Doc, Back in the above thread, in message #32, you mentioned something missing. Could that be around message #10? After you finished doing the walls, you didn't say what to do with that floor (like saving it) before starting on the roof and you didn't show how to put the 1st and 2nd floors together or what settings to use for that.geep posted Wed, 08 September 2004 at 11:40 PM

well, his regular tutorial pages were taking around 8 hours each, and these are more dense, requiring a bit more care in organizing. We could probably do like the guys on a construction site and open our lunchboxes while waiting. Bagels and coffee are good, but if we are building whole houses something meatier is needed.

Hi Cherokee69,
Your house is lookin' real good but I would advise you to NOT park that gorgeous Mustang in there whilst the construction is taking place. I would hate to see that beautiful paint job get messed up. ;=]
Ah yes, the wall and the soffit ...
That's a very good question.
And the answer is ...
The wall is not really above the soffit, per se.
They are both in exactly the same (i.e., yTran=0.096) place and Poser may show one or the other depending on the display mode and the camera settings.
However, it is not a problem because we are going to cover it up anyway.
Stay tuned ...
cheers,
dr geep
