How can I import an .OBJ file into Poser while still maintaing separateness of the objects within the .OBJ file? Is this question clear?

The OBJ will import in one chunk, but if it contains separate groups within the file, you can spawn props with the P4 grouping tool to get all the parts. Open the grouping tool with the prop selected, create a newgroup and add all. With the whole model selected orange, click spawn props. Delete what you don't need.
