I've got a job to do in Carrara that involves poser. Whats the status of bringing in complex 3D models into Poser 5?..and doing all the animation there. the model does have some movement within it, nothing complex, has glass and metal

You will have to set the joints to move in Poser if you bring it in as a 3DS. Do you want to see how to create a poseable figure in Poser? Sharen

If so we have a tutorial for creating a poseable figure, it was written by me and it has helped alot of people, but it was written with Poser 4 at the time, but it works in Poser 5 also. Sharen

If i understand, this model with moving parts (doors) requires "joints" to move....so yes I would be very interested in seeing the tutorial

Okay, I will try and set it up today, but I am trying to also finish our freebie for this week, so that will have to come after I get it done, I am sure it will help you! Give me some time and I will try and get it up today, along with the UV mapping Tutorial. Sharen
