Meet DawnV2, I've finally finished her, and she is now available in the store. Although she has a lot to offer, I realize she is based off an older model so I tried to price her accordingly at $6.50.Meddlesom posted Sun, 12 September 2004 at 10:08 PM

This link goes to a big picture of Dawn which really shows the detail in the texture and bump map.nickedshield posted Sun, 12 September 2004 at 11:11 PM
Nice to see some good products for the 'old girl'. Downloading now :)

Thanks, nickedshield! I hope you enjoy her, I am really looking forward to what other people can do with her.

Have you tried the textures on Judy?

hmmm... not bad. Gives us another texture. Does EJ have separate eyebrows? And I still use V2 so that is an added bonus. :)

Rats. It looks like there is a seperate map for the eyebrows. But, by putting them back on the head it still could be used.

There are a few reasons why I had the eyebrows as seperate maps, first is because I think it will help save memory in poser when switching back and forth between them. More noticably, it saves a lot of hard drive space. Judy apparently has an "EyeBrows" material setting, but it doesn't seem to serve any purpose.
I could probably combine the head and eyebrow textures, make a few MAT pose files for Judy, and set them up as a private download for people who have bought Dawn. What do you guys think about that?

Personally I think that would be great! haven't tried the textures on the milgirls yet, might make some cute Fae's.

I'll actually be releasing the millenium girl version of dawn pretty soon, I still need to make new MAT pose files since the millenium girls have some different material names (why can't they just agree on one format? heh).I will also be making another set of clothing magnets for her, but the main snag I've run into is that most of the clothing for Victoria PT is completely flat chested. I intend for the milgirl version to be more of a Dawn Petite, a young woman rather than a preteen. Fortunately there are a lot of clothing items that have the same idea in mind and they work really well with her, I'll attach a link to a few of the pictures I've made with her in clothes with the early version of the magnets.

DawnPetite makes a great elf too..nickedshield posted Tue, 14 September 2004 at 4:02 PM
I've run across the same issue with the PT clothing. Even clothing 'fitted' I've had to adjust to another PT figure. Have fun with the Mats. I think it's the eyelashes that are the worse.

For a MilGirl? A little too hippy I think. Need to thin down. BTW, I'm having a blast applying the texture to other figures (TenTenN for example) really makes a difference. G

Well, the main idea behind having her for the mil girls is so she can wear all the great clothing like this stuff in the attached link. I'm not really interested in making a child version of her, there is a lot of good clothing designed for victoria PT that is more of an adult fashion.Message edited on: 09/15/2004 14:37
