It's been a while since I have posted anything, so I thought I would just say hey! Been lurking, and checking in every few days to see what's new here, but haven't any new images to post. I've not picked up the camera for almost 2 months. I hit a bit of "writers block" photo style. nothing clicks for me right now. Back on August 11, I underwnt a partial knee replacement and am still in rehab, trying to get everything to work again. Prior to the surgery, I just couldn't get around real well because of my knee hurting to walk with to venture out to shoot stuff, so kinda lost the mood to shoot. To top off my spring, the company I've worked for fired me because i couldn't work. Anyway back in June, I picked up the paint brushes and started to paint again for the first time in 25 years. First show out, I sold 6 pieces, go figure. Kinda pissed me off, can't give away a photograph and my paintings seem to be a hit of sorts. Well I'm hoping that my knee will get better and I can begin to roam around easier and the urge to shoot will rekindle. Hope so anyway. Meantime, I'm still stopping by and checking out what's happening here. So ya'll take care and I'll be around!

I'm sorry to hear about your knee - I've been there myself and know it's a hell of a pain! I hope you'll get beter soon and find yourself a better job! Drop in to let us know what's happening! hugs

OK, here's an example of what I've been doing away from the camera. I call it "Untitled as a thank you to Dali". It's acrylic on a 9x12 canvas. I'm gonna update my website soon and put all of my paintings on a page. I've just got to take pictures of all of my old stuff first.
