Im trying to cut and it continues to give me a boolian error that the object is not solid. My questions are what do i need to do to make the cut also what options need to be checked when exporting the .obj and what figure .obj to use to export from poser to import into truespace. where can i find John Wind's conversion utilities to go from OBJ to COB format? Thanks in advance. Also if there is a newer version of this tutorial please send me that way. Thank you

Try using the solidify plugin, available on the free plugin page at Caligari's website. Also, if your'e looking for a file format conversion utility, there's no better one than 3D Explorer available at: http://www.xdsoft.com/explorer/ -Nando

Hi Lady Cherry, Yes the solidify plugin should work. Before this I ensured that the mesh was one group. You can do this by either editing it manually in a text editor (delete all but the first "g" line), or run it through UVMapper and select the single group option when saving.
