Hey everyone, I thought this would be a fun little challenge~ Using the background below render any scene you desire. Any and all postwork on the background/ final image is allowed~ I really want to see what everyone can come up with!! Please post images to the gallery with a link to the challenge message and "5DS Background Challenge" somewhere in the title. Prizes will be as follows: 1st Place~ My new backgrounds package available in my store now AND my upcoming "Mountain Legacy" backgrounds package (as soon as its available) AND one other item from my store, including merchant resource packages (winner's choice!) 2nd Place~ My new backgrounds package available in my store now ("5DS Backgrounds") AND my upcoming "Mountain Legacy" backgrounds package (as soon as its available) 3rd Place~ Winner's choice of the two background packages mentioned above.

ALL participants will recieve an assortment of five free backgrounds at the end of the contest. Judges will be announced later (once I find a couple other people!) Challenge will end on Friday, October 8th. Thanks, and good luck to all!!

Wonder if this goes against my daily upload. Well anyhow had a blast working with your background. Can we post this in our gallery also? Did ya know that uploads here have to be under 200K. Think contest and challenges going to have a hard time taking off, with the PTB making us come to this forum to post. Oh well I done made it, so going to post it. Thank you for holding this contest.

As far as I know you can post your finished piece wherever you want~ or you SHOULD be able to anyways. That way more people can see your hard work! I think they're trying to get more people to come to the challenge forum, and it does help to have one spot for all the images. "Banning" contest entries from the gallery does seem a little extreme though....wonder what they're gonna do. Thanks so much for posting this, its beautiful!

AND, if there's a problem with server space, then a single post with a link to the other place would actually use LESS space, yes/no? Let us know what the rules are, ok? Thanx! Yes, you can post... I would suggest the Challenge Arena gallery (a very unused gallery). Since this is a "challenge" and not a contest. The recent blowup was in regards to contests for prizes. There will soon be a lot more contests, through the standard contest format... but here in the challenge arena, it's pretty much business as usual. ;) Were here to help you get some inspiration, challenge friends or others to see where it takes you and what you get in return. And yes, you can also post in say the Poser gallery, if that is what you wish, then link it back here as an entry. I know the challenge gallery doesnt get a whole lot of traffic. Typically it gets a post or two every month or so. Sometimes more, sometimes none. ;)
