As MacOSX users know, you're supposed to be able to start a process running in one session, and be able to go off and work in another. But with Poser5, this doesn't seem to always work. In particular, I find that if I boot up Poser 5, and go off and work on other things while its being set up, I find that the document window and several other tools do not appear when I return to the Poser session. Most of the tools pop back if you trigger an action of some kind. But the document window does not appear no matter what you do. I'll report this to Curious Labs when I have time, but hopefully they're lurking on this message board. Does anyone else get this? How extensive is the problem?

Yes, it's a known bug, but I thought it was patched in the most recent update. However, P5X is so poorly written that it's the one app I wouldn't try to use concurrently with any others.

Thanks! Where this is a big deal is with rendering. I haven't experimented yet to see if I can do something else like surf the web while rendering is happening.

I also get that problem with Poser. I also have that problem with Bryce.

My document window coes back if I click on the title. It's an annoyance, but I've had no problems using other apps while running P5...Of course, it helps to have over a Gig of RAM and processisng speed. %^D Make sure you have the latest versions, too. Iseem to recal this was a real problem with an earlier version of OS X.

Mine behaves as Triarius'. Clicking on the title bar at the top brings the document window back. If it is in the middle of a render it takes some time though. I have OSX 10.3.5 and P5 with the update on a G4.

Would you recommend P4 over P5?
