i'm new to poser.can some one tell me do you have to by vicky inorder to use the textures and ect that are created for just her? can you use them on any p4 woman/

Vicky is mapped different than the P4 woman. You would have to do a LOT of work in order to use vicky textures on P4 woman. uh... has no one remapped a P4 figure to accept Vicky maps yet? Or remapped Vicky to accept P4 maps?

Not yet, as far as I know. Grey has posted UVS (UVMapper) files to remap P3 fem to use P4 texturemaps.

The interesting alternative is to go to WarriorDL's site and download his Hybrid P4-Vicky and P4-Mike. This allows you the fine facial features of Zygote's hi-rez faces, yet allows you to use all the older P4 textures, clothes, etc.

I'm not sure if it was Grey who did the P3/P4 re-mapping, but he did a remapping with all materials on one single texture: http://195.212.91.5/ubb/Forum5/HTML/002782.html
